Our Company
Throttle Muscle is a family-owned company founded in 2012. Our team is focused on providing high quality automotive chemicals and other products to professional installers. We were founded on the premise of giving back to charity and doing our part in the community.
We offer our partners much more than just high-quality products. We offer complimentary training, point of sales material, product samples and much more. We also offer a way to give back to charity without having to raise additional funds.
Never ordinary
We started Throttle Muscle with a purpose: to create cutting edge, innovative products that could be used by every customer during every visit to our service centers — products that benefit not only the end consumer, but the installer as well.
It seemed crazy to us, the amount of dollars spent on engine treatments and fuel treatments that were just ordinary. We never want to be ordinary. We strive to be extraordinary in every sense of the word.
Engine treatments
One of the first things we did was create a fully synthetic engine treatment that wouldn't instantly degrade the cutting edge motor oils on the market. Why would anyone pour a conventional engine treatment into fresh full synthetic motor oil? It makes no sense. We want toadd to the protective capabilities — not take away from them.
Fuel treatments
We wanted our fuel treatments to complement the synthetic nature of the engine treatments, so we gave them synthetic flair of their own — adding a synthetic top end lubricant to our one step fuel system cleaners for an extra edge in the marketplace. And we wanted results a driver could actually notice:a difference you can see at the gas pump.
Wiper blades
Sean owned stores in Eastern Washington, Montana and on the Central Coast of California — a thorough way to learn about wiper blades. A frozen Montana morning where the glass will not clear is one problem. Central Coast fog, where you are wiping the windshield in July, is the opposite one. MuscleBlades were built to handleboth extremes and still be worth what they cost.
The Beginning
In early 2011, our team had the opportunity to meet several folks involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). We were at a convention in Chicago and were invited to join the MDA team for dinner. While some of us had already been touched by the MDA, others on our team were getting their first experience. Attending this dinner was Abbey Umali. Abbey was the National Goodwill Ambassador at the time and an absolute treasure of a human being!
During dinner, Abbey and her parents made the most positive impact on our team. She made us all smile. She made us all laugh. She made us all cry. It was at that dinner that our team unanimously knew it was our mission to get involved with MDA at a different level. It is now our mission to do anything and everything we possibly can to give to the MDA just a small piece of what Abbey has already given us.
