Past 75,000 miles an engine has usually done two things at once: clearances have opened up, and seals have hardened. Oil that was comfortable at 20,000 miles is being asked to do a harder job, and the places it escapes from are the places a stiffened seal no longer covers properly.
TM3333 is built for that engine. Alongside the Acceler8 boosting additive — anti-wear agents and friction modifiers shared with the AFC Acceler8 fuel system cleaner it is packaged with — it carries seal conditioners and enhancers that work on the elastomer itself, helping stop the leaks and smoking that come from worn seals rather than working around them.
Because it is a fully formulated synthetic rather than a thin additive, it strengthens a full synthetic oil instead of diluting it, and it meets or exceeds GF7 requirements to help reduce emissions and maximise fuel economy. One 12 oz bottle treats up to 8 quarts, which covers the overwhelming majority of what comes through a bay.
